Riot Games is seeking an experienced and dynamic Publishing Manager to lead our efforts in the Australia and New Zealand markets. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of publishing management, focusing on strategic planning, market analysis, and execution. This role is crucial in driving our brand presence and growth across the region. You will oversee various aspects of publishing, including influencer management, social media moderation, and community engagement, ensuring that our strategies align with local market dynamics and player needs.
This is a 6 month contract position.
Responsibilities:
Publishing Management:
- Develop and implement publishing campaigns to drive brand presence and player engagement in Australia and New Zealand.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute publishing initiatives, aligning with global, regional, and local strategies.
- Prepare and present regular reports on publishing activities, community engagement, and partnership outcomes to senior management.
Strategic Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with local first-party console platform partners.
- Identify and assess opportunities from third-party partnerships and activations.
- Manage working relationships with agencies, vendors, and strategic partnerships to execute event logistics, sponsorships, and community tournaments, ensuring successful execution and brand alignment.
- Drive initiatives to enhance Riot Games' presence and influence within the local gaming industry.
Social Media, Community, and Influencer Management:
- Craft and execute strategies to bolster Riot Games' brand and community engagement.
- Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with key influencers and content creators in the region.
- Oversee social media channels, ensuring effective moderation and fostering a positive, engaging community environment.
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies that resonate with players in Australia and New Zealand.
- Monitor and analyze player feedback and community trends to inform content and engagement strategies.
- Foster a vibrant and inclusive community culture that aligns with Riot Games' values and mission.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven experience in social media, community, and influencer management.
- Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the gaming community in Australia and New Zealand.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working with third-party event organizers and console platform companies is a plus.
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with local Esports and gaming communities.
